Working 2 Walk Registration now open, Schedule updated

LATEST NEWS:    9/1: Updated information from the Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research (CAMR) on the injunction to halt federal funding of embryonic stem cell research:

"1.  Latest news from the NIH on their response to the ruling.

2.  We expect that the Department of Justice will be filing for an appeal today.  As we understand it, it will be a stay request citing the harm the injunction is causing.  The stay request goes back to Judge Lamberth and should he turn down the request (which is likely,) they will immediately move to the appeals court.

We should all be keeping up the pressure on our representatives and asking them the questions "are you going to help fix this" and "are you going to be part of the solution."  While we do not have details, we need to be sure that we keep up the pressure and communicate the urgency of this issue to our Federal legislatures and candidates!"

U2FP will continue to monitor the situation and post any updates on this website.

An in-depth look at the ruling.
